Overview

The server bank is a community-run financial institution. Any server can propose one — once 3 moderators approve it, the bank is chartered with a $3,000,000 starting vault. Members can deposit, take loans, and earn reputation by repaying on time. Alias: ;sbank

Bank status

Shows the bank’s vault balance, debt, total customer deposits, interest rate, active loan count, and staff list.

Proposing & approving a bank

Proposes a new bank for this server. Name must be 3–32 characters. Requires 3 moderator approvals before the bank is chartered.
Approve the pending bank proposal. Requires Manage Server, Manage Channels, Kick Members, or Ban Members. Once 3 mods approve, the bank is chartered.

Staff management

Bank manager only.
Hire a member as manager or cashier. Managers can hire/fire staff and force-default overdue loans. Cashiers can collect and approve small loans.
Remove a staff member from the bank.

Rename the bank

Bank owner only — managers can’t rename it.
Name must be 3–32 characters.

Deposits & withdrawals

Deposit money into your account at the server bank. Deducted from your wallet, tracked as your personal deposit.
Withdraw from your personal deposits. Vault must have sufficient funds.

Loans

Request a loan of $5,000–$1,000,000 for a term of 1–30 days. Interest is applied on approval. Large amounts require staff approval. Only one active loan per user at a time.
Repay your outstanding loan in full. On-time repayment earns +2 reputation.
Force-default an overdue borrower. Requires manager or cashier role. Effects on the borrower: 60-minute jail, bail = 50% of amount owed, -10 reputation.
Defaulting on a loan results in jail time, heavy bail, and a significant reputation penalty. Repay before the due date.
